As a vegetarian, I find it hard to read through the ingredients of any processed/canned food product in grocery stores to look for absence of any meat contents - say chicken broth in a vegetable soup. I have an app idea (WhatsInIt) where the app can scan the bar code of the edible product and list all the ingredients. The app also should offer filters to pick and choose the presence/absence of specific ingredients/allergens like dairy, nuts, meat broth etc.
