This project originated when Yellow Oak Technologies were mandated by a company (Framework Plus ) to install a submarine data cable from Brazil to South Africa, to directly link SA on the international internet network. This to supply their clients with bandwidth. Capital needs to be raised and specific licenced and vetted companies need to be contracted for specific tasks. Due to the complexity of the and the extremely regulated industry it is desirable to deal only with companies that are credible.
