Effective policing becomes a problem when you have just 100,000 policemen/women to cater for a population of 172 million. The solution, i think, should be to make every citizen a potential police informant. Looking for an app that will enable one record a crime scene, in real time, with the coordinates of the scene and the send it to a database at the force hq where it can easily be accessed and acted upon.
