Startup Idea : app idea to connect people

the problem with today is that everyone is so connected, but no one is truly connected in a personal sense. i have an idea for an app that brings people together and allows people to meet new people while doing activities that they love. for example, you want to join a local running club but don't know anyone around doing that. you could post a running club and using geolocation (like tinder, and other dating apps use) you could find or post different activities to partake in. would be a true social media in every sense.
